I know, I know, this isn't a card post, and I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing about Haiti by now. But this is a little personal.
My husband's cousin is trying to adopt two kids from Haiti, and they were nearly done when the quake hit. They are currently trying to raise money for their orphange in Haiti, and for everyone there (in addition to trying to find their children and get them out safely).
Here is their blog:
Countdown To Homecoming
If you want an easy way to help out, one of their friends is raising "coins for comments". If you comment on her blog, 5 cents will be donated to the cause. Here is the link!
Coins For Comments
On a card note, they have been selling these beautiful handmade cards. they are made using banana leaves, and are made by women in Haiti. This is just one example.
Here is a link to see more of them.
Haiti Handmade Cards
If you want to buy some of these cards, they will hopefully be getting the site back up soon, when the chaos has settled, and people in Haiti are able to rebuild and start living life again. Here is the store address (so check often to see when it comes back up):

Okay, I'll step off my soapbox now. Thanks.

I currently have my own website http://handmadecardideas.blogspot.com but I can send you images as well!
