I made this for a friend whose mother passed away last week. I'm not so sure about the ribbon. I never seem to have the right color ribbon so I end up using white on everything.
This blog exists so we can exchange homemade card ideas. Please include labels when you post! Here are a few ideas, but feel free to make up your own: Christmas, birthday, stamps, eyelets, stickers, tri-fold, brads, ribbon, simple, etc.

I wanted to share my blog "creation story." I was great at creating and stashing cards away, but my friends made fun of my hoarding. I never sent the cards! I was afraid that I could never recreate the hard-earned ideas. I began photographing cards and eventually created this blog, which allows all of us to have a record of what we have created. The title of the blog applies to me and probably no one else who posts on here...but as much as I've tried to come up with a new title, this one stuck. I'm so grateful to all of you for contributing and following this blog!!

I like the background paper. Is that paper or did you make it with stamps?
It's paper.
i think it is a beautiful card. The white ribbon works just fine, but I know what you mean (I never seem to have the right color of anything).
I'm sure your friend will appreciate it, and love the fact that you took the time to make the card.
I think the white bow is perfect and MAKES the card. . .
very nice - love the colors and the way you shaded around the flower.
sorry to hear about your friend's mother - I'm sure she appreciated the card.
