Auction Cards - FINISHED!!

FEW - they are done! I can't tell you how relieved I am. Thanks for letting me borrow ideas (and stuff) - including your last card, Dot, as well as Anna, Barbara, Melanie, Denise and Bri. Thanks especially to Cami for helping me make these (& for convincing me to contribute to the auction)!! You've seen some before, but I wanted to include them all in the slideshow.

Julie, they look so great! You've inspired me...I decided to pledge some homemade cards for our RS quarterly activity which is an auction of services and talents. So I may be calling and begging for help... :-)!

Julie they are all awesome. I am sure who ever gets them will be quite pleased. I may have to steal some of these designs for my class.

I like your cards. You chose some nice placements. The only thing I would suggest is to vary levels of papers on them by using foam dots to raise parts and a possible use of more realia like ribbons and buttons and such and maybe even framing more parts like you did the one with three parts all same design. Also, placing parts tilted make it look nice also.

You are off to a good start. I'm sure the people that get them will enjoy using them.

Are you including envelopes? Sometimes decorating the inside flap of the envelope with corresponding colors ties it all together. Sometimes I just use ink to color it in swirls and such.

Thanks for the encouragement - you guys are so nice! Paulie - I'm so glad you mentioned envelopes -- I dropped them off at the school without the envelopes accidentally!! Also, Paulie, I love dimensional foam dots and used them a few times, but it's hard to tell from the pics.

Happy Card-Making! I'm going out of town for about ten days, so I'll be out of the blogging loop.
