Auction Card #1

After much deliberation, I decided to contribute ten homemade cards to my daughter's upcoming school auction. I made my first card last night. I feel a lot of pressure to make really nice cards - especially since she goes to a school with a lot of affluence. Thanks to Roni for convincing me to do it and for offering to help! Here are my first attempts. I was trying to make cards unlike the ones I've done before. Sorry the lighting is so terrible. They are white and the heart and flower are popped up a little. We all know cards are cuter in real life. :)

Which do you like better?

Jules, they both are great, but if I had to choose one, I would say I like the flower one a little better.

Good luck, I look forward to seeing all of your creations!

Very hard to choose between the two but I like the flower one just a little better also.

The second one is perfect! I would buy that one. The first one is a neat idea but I don't like the placement of the rectangle -- would like to see what it looks like a bit lower. I am not real crazy about the ribbon either. To me , it is distracting. A ribbon might be good on it but I am not sure how to place it. I am going to try to make a card similar to your 2nd one design. I don't have that paper or stamp but LIKE the placement of the rectangles.

I meant the blue ribbon which I did not care for -- not sure if the brown is a ribbon or what but I love that part.

After I posted them, water got spilled on the flower card. :( At least it will be easy to remake...since I already have the idea.
