Project Keepsake -- Take Two

I finished another keepsake card for a woman in our church who's husband is deployed to Iraq. Just in case you can't tell from the photos, the base cardstock is navy blue.

The stars are dry embossed.
Card opened.

Fold out front side.

Fold Out Back Side

Embellishments I included in her kit, just some tags, and a lined writing block.

This is very cool! I love the stars and the choice of paper. I also really like the tags. Well done! :)

What is the difference between dry embossing and wet embossing? I've only ever done the one with the heat tool and the powder. What is that?

Jules-

Dry embossing is the use of stencils. Fiskars has a great system. You put the paper between two identical stencils and use a stylus to press out the image.

You can also use brass stencils, but this requires the use of a light box (so you can see the stencil through the paper).
