Card Making Week

I have been making quite a few cards this week. Here are five of them. The first two are based off of the one that Jules posted just a few days ago. I liked her idea and I was able to find some of my own paper to do something similar. I was making all of these cards for a friend and I wanted some pretty generic ones that you could use for most occassions and this is what I came up with.

I really like all the cards - especially the first and the middle. On the middle one, is it embossed or did you use a multicolor stamp pad? Is that one ribbon wrapped around the card multiple times? Do you want to come over and make cards next week one night?

Very pretty! I like the last one best.

The middle one is a multicolor stamp pad. The ribbon is cut into two pieces merely so that I could make the ribbons as parallel as possible. The ribbon does wrap all the way to around it though, so it has two stripes inside also. Yes, let's do cards next week. Let's talk about when.

I'm kinda intrigued by the butterfly one. . . wish you had more explanation on how you did it.

the butterfly one is actually all one paper that I cut section of to make the card. Even the butterfly in the middle came from the same sheet of paper. I just cut the two background strips, then cut out the butterfly and mounted it on cardstock. Then it is put on with a dimensional from Stampin' Up. The paper that I used came from a 6x6 stack that I have. It is by Elizabeth Brownd and called "6x6 Scrapbook Designer Papers." I actually don't even know what store it came from or how long ago it was purchased as I found this inmy mom's stack. (FYI, the flower card is also one sheet of paper cut and pasted also from the same stack.)
