More Cards to enjoy...hopefully!

The text here says "smile". The daisies are made from two flowers (made with a paper punch) layered together with a regular paper punch in yellow for the center.

The black dots are just from a regular paper punch. I hand drew and colored the ladybug, then cut it out, and mounted in thick cardboard to get the "3-D" effect. I hand wrote "Ladybug Picnic".

The center daisy on this one was made by cutting out two handdrawn flower shapes and layering them, and centering with a hand cut yellow circle. You can see it opened below.

The flowers in the corner are cut out from the background paper, and then mounted on cardboard for the "3-D" effect.

Note Cards

I made up some more note cards. I am planning on using them to give with cookies and other items for friends and women I visit with from church. I like the smaller size.

The text on this one says "wishes". The daisies in the corners are two little white flowers (made with a paper punch), which are layered. I used a regular paper punch to make the yellow center.
The text on this one says "celebrate".

Gift tags...

In another effort to use up some more of those nagging scraps, I made some little gift tags for some upcoming events. They look kind of sad, since they are just scraps. Sorry they are so blurry, but I'm a horrible photographer (even with a point and click).

Random Cards

Just some more I made last night......

This used a stamp I had, and used some left over paper scraps.

This was just me trying to be creative and use up some left over papers.

I liked this one, and actually made several of them. The "inspire" is a stamp out of a set of word stamps. The stars are a paper punch.

Again trying to use up paper scraps.

Note Cards

I went crazy last night, and decided to spend about 4 hours making cards. At the end, I had a lot of scraps of paper, and odd shaped pieces of card stock. Instead of throwing them away, or trying to save them for later (and hoping I'd actually use them), I decided to make up some little note cards.

For this one, I had small strips of some decorative paper left, and so I just layered them in a weave sort of pattern, on an odd sized strip of cardstock I had left (just folded it in half). I'm not sure it turned out as well as I would have liked. (sorry my finger is in the photo, but had to hold it closed)

I had small pieces left over from trying to make valentines, so I made a little heart note card. I brushed the edges of the inset across the stamp pad (I saw someone else on the blog tried that before, not sure I did it right though).

I hand drew this dragonfly (based on a stamp I found online), and used up some other cardstock scraps. I colored in the wings and head with just regular crayon.

I had a lot of odd sized scraps of this green striped paper, and nothing to do with it. So i cut it into little squares (does anyone know where I can find a square punch?), and then just stamped some stars. Got extra ink on the stamp base, so it looks pretty crappy.
